Outline
The Semitron ESd antistatic range is designed for problematic applications if discharged during operation. These materials have an electrostatic control leak function.
Characteristic
-Permanent anti-static capability
-Distribute static electricity in less than [5kV] 2 seconds.
-It does not use metal or graphite powder.
-Depending on the base polymer, the temperature of use is 90°C to 260°C. [Continuous use]
Applications
Semitron ESd grades address regular discharging issues under a wide range of temperature and mechanical load conditions, with a total of four types.
Semitron ESd materials are often used in equipment that manufactures and handles sensitive electronic components such as integrated circuits, hard disk drives, and circuit boards. They can also be a great choice for parts and materials for high-speed electronic printing and playback equipment.
Grade
Semitron ESd 225 [Anti-static POM; Beige]
Semitron ESd 225 is ideal for handling and transporting acetal-based anti-static materials and can be a great choice when handling silicon wafers in the process of equipment used to manufacture hard disk drives.
Semitron ESd 410C [Anti-static PEI; Black]
With excellent mechanical properties within 210℃, the Semitron ESd 410C provides an ESd solution at high temperatures. In addition, the Semitron ESd 410C also has excellent dimensional stability, making it ideal for handling equipment in the electric/electronic or semiconductor industries.
Semitron ESd 500HR [Anti-static PTFE; White]
The proprietary Semitron ESd 500HT, reinforced by our own synthetic mica, is a superb combination of low-maphal properties, excellent dimensional stability, and anti-electrification. Every time a pure PTFE causes a discharge problem, it provides the Semitron ESd 500HT discharge control blid-off function and retains typical PTFE properties such as extensive chemical resistance and small coefficient of friction.
Semitron ESd 520HR [Anti-static PAI; khaki gray]
Semitron ESd 520HR is a product developed for the first time in the industry that combines properties such as anti-static [ESd], high strength, and heat resistance. This new ESd material is ideal for making contactors, sockets and nests for test equipment and equipment handling parts for the semiconductor industry.
Key features of the Semitron ESd 52HR include its unique ability to resist dielectric breakdown at high voltages [>100 V]. For example, where a typical carbon fiber-reinforced product would become irreversibly conductive after being exposed to only a small voltage, Semitron ESd 520HT maintains electrical performance throughout the voltage range of 100V to 1000V, even for demanding applications. It exhibits excellent mechanical performance in its intended use.
Technical information
Semitron ESd products are intrinsically dispersible, are not affected by atmospheric phenomena such as humidity, and their properties are not degraded by surface treatments used to make them dispersible.
