HDPE is widely used in compression-molded polyethylene products, for hygienic food contact.

It is divide as follows by density.

▷ HD-PE [high density polyethylene] ⇒ (high-density polyethylene rigid polyethylene)

▷ LD-PE [low density polyethylene] ⇒ (low density polyethylene flexible polyethylene)
