Outline
Bakelite is a type of thermosetting resin based on fillers, lubricants, and hardeners.
It is supplied in powder form, and the molded product has a useful combination of ease of molding, versatility, temperature resistance, solvent resistance, and chemical resistance at a low price.
It is largely divided into jibakelite (general bake) and pobakelite (including cloth in the bake plate), and is used according to each characteristic.
Characteristic
– It has excellent electrical insulation and is suitable for use as an insulator.
– Excellent flexural strength and heat resistance, it is suitable for mechanical and electrical and electronic parts.
– It has good moisture resistance, so it has less flexibility during storage and has good low-temperature punching processability.
– It is a product with excellent flame retardancy that has been approved for UL-94 HB and V0 class standards.
Applications
·Molded products: Electronic, electronic, mechanical, ship, vehicle parts
·Luxury: Electric insulation plate, circuit board
·Other: Adhesive/adhesive of insulation, abrasive, plywood, etc., sand casting for casting industry
