- Heat resistance ranging from -50℃ to 180℃
- Excellent dimensional stability and impact resistance at cryogenic temperatures
- Swells in halogenated solvents, but exhibits strong resistance to strong acids, strong alkalis, mixed acids, and oxidizers
- Translucent appearance provides a level of transparency not found in PTFE
- Possesses excellent electrical properties, such as low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent
- Greater compressive strength than PTFE, making it suitable for use as a mechanical and chemical (especially high-pressure) gasket material
